During the upcoming 86th Legislative Session, engaged alumni from The University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M University unite at the Texas State Capitol to showcase our shared interest in the importance of higher education funding for the betterment of Texas. 
Agenda
10:15 a.m.: Resolution Reading in the House (House Gallery - Texas Capitol) 

11:15 a.m.: Resolution Reading in the Senate (Senate Gallery - Texas Capitol) 

12 p.m.: Volunteer Check-in (800 Congress Avenue) 

12 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.: Kick-off Luncheon and Volunteer Briefing Session (800 Congress Avenue)
Volunteers will enjoy a lunch and have opportunities to network with other volunteers and university leaders. University leaders will speak on legislative issues facing our two universities in preparation for office visits to the Capitol later in the day. 

2:30 p.m.: Group Photo (South steps of the Capitol building) 

2:45 - 5 p.m.: Volunteer Office Visits (Texas Capitol Building) 
Alumni volunteers will visit legislative offices in assigned small groups. Each appointment will be 15-20 minutes. Volunteers are encouraged to stop by their local legislator's office to visit with staff between or after their scheduled meetings. 

5 - 7 p.m.: Reception (800 Congress Avenue)

All volunteers, university administrators, legislators, and their staff are welcome to attend.
